In an era where cultural understanding and diversity are more crucial than ever, The Lisbon Arab Film Festival (LAFF) aims at fostering a different analysis of the Arab world, beyond stereotypes. 
 
By showcasing the lasted and most compelling films from several Arab countries, in close collaboration with our partners from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the festival will encourage cross-cultural dialogue on important social issues such as social emancipation, freedom and faith.

The first edition is scheduled to take place between 1st and 5th of October 2024 in Culturgest, a major cinema venue in the heart of Lisbon. Most films selected will be screened for the first time in Portugal.
